Thundermist Health Center in Woonsocket is one of three comprehensive Community Health Centers offering services in adult medicine, pediatrics, mental health counseling, obstetrics/gynecology, dentistry, social services and the WIC program. Women & Infants Hospital is one of the nation’s leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns. The major teaching affiliate of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University for activities unique to women and newborns, Women & Infants is the eleventh largest stand-alone obstetrical service in the country with nearly 8,400 deliveries per year.
