Description:

Open to both Jewish and non-Jewish members of the community, the Jewish Seniors Agency To Life Center Adult Day Services is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health and earned the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs’ highest rating by providing a safe, supportive, activity-filled environment for those who cannot be left alone during the day. Participants enjoy daily recreational and social therapy, and the center also offers a Wellness Program. It is an ideal place for people who want to remain in their homes, but are in need of care during the day. As the only Kosher Adult Day Center in the state, they serve a freshly prepared breakfast and lunch as well as snacks.

Description:

GATRA oversees operations of fixed route bus services in the cities of Attleboro and Taunton, and the towns of Duxbury, Franklin, Kingston, Mansfield, Marshfield, Middleborough, North Attleboro, Norton, Plainville, Plymouth, Raynham, Seekonk, and Wareham. In 2014, GATRA launched the Tri-Town Connector, bringing fixed route service to the towns of Norfolk, Wrentham, and Foxborough.

In addition to fixed route service, GATRA provides demand response (Dial-A-Ride) services for people with disabilities and seniors in all 28 member communities. GATRA also plays a vital role in the provision of Commuter Rail service to Boston by providing shuttle services to MBTA stations in the towns of Bellingham, Franklin, Norton, Mansfield, Medway, Middleborough, and Pembroke.
