The Furniture Bank operates as a redistribution center by soliciting donations of good quality furniture and household items from individuals and businesses statewide. GATRA oversees operations of fixed route bus services in the cities of Attleboro and Taunton, and the towns of Duxbury, Franklin, Kingston, Mansfield, Marshfield, Middleborough, North Attleboro, Norton, Plainville, Plymouth, Raynham, Seekonk, and Wareham. In addition to fixed route service, GATRA provides demand response (Dial-A-Ride) services for people with disabilities and seniors in all 28 member communities. 2-1-1 provides a trained and caring human connection – a call specialist – who helps people find assistance on everything from childcare needs and mental health issues, food and heating assistance, to gambling problems and elder care services.
